My friends brain

My friend and I participated in a science research project at a hospital once, and we both got our brains scanned.
I also got my brain zapped repeatedly with electricity, so they could scan how the electrical waves moved through my brain. The purpose of the project is to learn more about how to measure levels of consciousness, so it might be used to find out if coma patients are aware or not, in the future. It was mildly painful and a bit uncomfortable, but it felt nice to do something useful for medical science.
I used her scan to make her a pendant as a birthday present.
It’s sterling silver, with swirls and leaves growing from it, and a serotonin molecule engraved on the back.
